email problem

every email i send out i get error code 17099
5.1.2 or other punctuation after the recipient's email address. m42sm71678599eef.0

and say mail could not be sent, it seems the mail however is arriving

how can i solve the problem

The first step to solve it is to share a little more information. Like ...

  • Machine
  • Version of Mac OS
  • Mail program (Apple Mail?)
  • Internet connection
Was mail working OK before? Did something change? Give us something to go on.
