Emais are deleted in Mail, but still appear in web browser

When I delete emails from my Hotmail account in Mail.app, they go away. However, when I open my web browser, those emails which I deleted in Mail.app (and they also went away in Mail.app) were still in the web-based Hotmail inbox. Refreshing the web browser still stays the same. This problem occurs for emails in my Hotmail inbox as well as junk mails in my Hotmail account.

I have another account (IMAP) in Mail.app and this problem doesn't happen and it's fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Under preferences in mail there is an option to "Remove copy from server after retrieving a message:" and you can set that for once it's in your Mail indox or after a certain period of time. I know on my Gmail account there is an option to delete messages online after getting accessed through POP. I don't know for sure if there is a setting that will delete it only after you delete it in Mail though.
