Enable and Configure Remote Managment from Single User Mode

Hi

I have a 2008 mac book pro and the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT) in it has failed. So all I can do is start the mac in Single User Mode, or any very simple graphics mode that doesnt require the graphics card.

My question is: Is there a way to enable and configure Remote Management from single user mode, so that I can access it from a Win7 computer, and how would I connect from win7 (settings for a vnc client)?

Or is there a way to use the mac without using the graphics card?

Thanks
Adam.

Hi

I actually did eventually find a solution that worked for my computer. It's found here: http://technotes.twosmallcoins.com/?p=279 All I did was replace ssh stuff with single user mode. Once I had followed all the steps (all the commande line stuff), I had to restart the computer and let it boot normally. Then when it seems like it has finished booting, using tightvnc (from win7) works fine.
