Entourage and unwanted attachments

We send to our clients four pdfs attached to one mail when they purchase our sevices - they and our colleagues in accounts receive 8 attachments - copies of the pdf as .png or .bin or attachment (internet explorer 4.5 document) which is either a copy of the email text or blank. Cannot find anything in the settings, tried to change encoding, badgered our entourage and our isp... Any ideas, before I speak to the next disgruntled customer?!

Just ask them to send plain text email or go into Entourage's Preferences and tell it to make all email plain text.
