Entourage - Comcast - Can Send but Not Receive

Hey gang,

I just solved an interesting problem. I upgraded to 10.4.2 and installed Microsoft Office X. I imported my old Outlook Express data.

I got all my internet settings correct. I could web browse. I could send mail, but I COULD NOT receive mail. I put questions to the forums. I was with tech support for Comcast and Apple and Microsoft.

All my settings were correct... everyone was pointing the finger at everyone else.

Well the problem was in the Directory Services and the Send/Recieve schedule. I had imported some old and never used settings from the Outlook Express application. I deleted all the setting and was able to receive all my mail.

It is the simple things that kill you.

The one problem that I have now is that my mail 'in box' is not the top level. I have to go to the 'send/receive' mail menu and highlight the POP account even though this is the only mail account on Entourage. Any thoughts.
