right. my boss' powerbook has had a tough morning. Entourage freaked out earlier today and demanded a rebuild. we tried that. no good.
checked the size of his main identities folder and it was a whopping 10G!! dont know how. I moved all the 6 month old + database files elsewhere. and hey presto the rebuild worked.
only problem is he's lost loads of his contacts. emails generally seem ok. but all the groups he created in the last year have been lost.
I noticed a 'Mailing List' Microsoft Entourage List file in the identities folder, but there is no way I can see to import the contents.
this file holds the key as it was last modified before it all went wrong.
