Entourage Inline Embeded Images Question

In my opinion, one really annoying feature of Entourage is its needed to embed every attachment in an image when i drag it in. If i'm sending a jpg or PDF, i want it to show up as an attachment, not an embeded image.

Is it possible to just drag an item into an email message and have it show up as an attachment instead of an embeded item? Is there any way to turn off that embeding feature while still using HTML email?

In Entourage Preferences/Mail&News Preferences/View/Messages unclick "show attached pictures and movies in messages".

Why don't you want your attachments to show display inline? However they are displayed, they are still attachments. You have little, if any, control over how attachments appear on the recipient's end. Unless you are emailing porn to coworkers, this is not anything that you should worry about. I would certainly recommend that you not send confidential information via email.

Strange...works for me.

I'm using Entourage 2004 for Mac with OS10.4.1...

What are you using? :rolleyes:
