entourage not loading

I keep trying to open up microsoft entourage, my mail program, but it only opens for a second or two, shows the box only partially filling the screen and makes an almost entourage sound as it opens. Then it shuts off and the message appears "enourage quit.........would you like to submit a bug report to apple." What can I do to get it working and to make sure I have saved my information? Thanks. Rebuild the database by launching the program with the "option" key pressed down. A dialog box will open to rebuild/repair the database.

Thanks. Do I need to back up microsoft user data (entourage contacts, and all that other good stuff?) or is that stuff not affected by doing what you said? Again. thanks alot. Seth

No. However you should ALWAYS back up data before you regret a hard drive crash that will come to everyone.
