Entourage

Wondering if you can help me. I have Mac OS X and evertime I open Entourage it just closes on me. I have had it ever since buying my eMac and it was working just fine, then it started to crash when sending and receiving emails, so I did an uninstall and reinstalled it but it has mad eno difference. Any sugestions on how to fix this problem. I am also having Mac Mail crash on me now?? It's driving me batty, hope you can help

You didn't list your version of Entourage.
You didn't list the version of your OS.
You didn't list your model computer.
You didn't list your ISP or email provider or any changes in either.
You didn't state your email protocol--POP3, IMAP, AOL, Exchange, etc.
You didn't say if you tried any routine maintenace.

If you expect any help, you have to give some relevant information about your system and setup. The fact that you have the same problem with two separate email clients means that your problem probably does not lie with Entourage or Mail. However, it may lie with your setup or your ISP. But, the takeaway message is that we are not the Psychic Friends Network. You have to give us information about your system as you know.

IT sounds like you have an email(s) that are causing the crash. Try to rebuild your folders.

Then check your sent folder - you might have to open each one.. OR you could create a second folder - call it sent2 - and move all the docs from sent to Sent2 - see if that makes it crash - if it doesn't - keep working with the default folders until ti does... My guess is that the offensive email is within those folders.
