Epson 2200 output is now more dull?!

Hi All,

Yes, I've read the "Epson/Tiger combo sucks" thread.

Here's my setup: My Epson 2200 is hooked up to a Windows XP box. I print to it using my Mac over the network.

When I had 10.3, the printer printed very nicely.

However, now that I've upgraded to 10.4(.1), the prints are all duller. What could cause this?

I'm using the gimp-print drivers. I don't think I have the option of using the Epson drivers, because they are not network drivers and require the printer to be hooked up locally via USB?

Any ideas? I just want my colors to look the way they did on 10.3!

May be an issue with the gimp drivers. I still have not been able to successfully print from Mac to PC, or PC to Mac.
