Scanning transparencies on Epson 4990 scanner works fine until the end of the full scan when everything ceases with the little progress box saying there is 3 minutes to run. And there it stays with no scan coming out! I've tried re-installing as suggested by Epson (very helpful support, but did not work in this case). Anyone have any ideas? I can't try on another Mac, I don't know of one locally. It scans a reflected photo OK.
