Epson 5400 & OS 10.5 install

Im upgrading my power pc 1.25 G4 from 10.2.8 to 10.5 but halfway thru install it stops & says it cant validate Epson printer driver package. I dont use this printer/scanner any longer so I dont necesarily need it .... what to do?.. & btw Ive already trashed it from library and everything else I could find with Epson on it except for a bunch of files (WWHDATA, WWHHELP etc) files & cant because they are locked.
 
I just updated my iMac to 10.6. Epson sent me an email stating that I had to update my drivers for my Workforce 500 to work with Snow Leopard. Once I did that, everything worked fine. Just go to Epson's Web site and download the latest drivers.
