Epson C60 driver problem

I think I've tried everything from using CUPS to completely erasing all printer drivers using the Print Center Repair Utility and fresh install of my epson driver from the original CD.

Here's the problem: Everytime I try to add the printer it tells me the driver is not installed and therefore doesn't add it to my printer list.

I checked out the console to see if it said anything.... let me know if anyone can interpret this:

Try gimp-print

Yeah I tried that ... installed both gimp-print and the postscript/ghostscript stuff.... the printer didn't show up in the device list although the printer was plugged in and turned on...

I know the printer works fine because I print to it from my pc all the time.
