Epson R200 Stylus Photo Not working with Airport

Hi,

I am hoping someone might have some insight with this problem.

I am on an iBook G4, OS 10.3.9 and I have been using it with my Epson printer without problems for about a year now.

I just bought the airport base (not airport extreme) and when I try to print to the R200 Stylus Photo, the job becomes "stopped" according to the Epson utility. The printer does not even respond.

When I plug the USB printer cable directly into the iBook. It prints without problems. I have tried downloading the latest driver from Epson, and it tells me I have the most recent driver. I have turned on "print share" in my control panel.

Thanks a million if anyone knows the answer to this mystery.

The only thing that I can tell you is that it should work. I have an R200 connected to an Airport Express and I have had no problems printing with 10.4.x (Tiger) or 10.3.x (Panther).

In the Printer Setup Utility, you did set it up for Rendezvous (old) or Bonjour (new), right?
