Epson Stylus 3000 color printer install

I have an iMac OS 10.4 tiger. I have been routing my epson thru and older version Mac. I have downloaded the OS 10.4 driver but am unable to get it to print. What am I doing wrong?
 
I suppose, in theory, the latest download from the Epson web site should work. Keep in mind that driver was released before even OS X 10.3 was released, and nearly two years before 10.4 was available. There is support for the printer as part of the Tiger install, in Gimp-print drivers, but I don't know if they work for your Color Stylus 3000. Epson appears to have stopped supporting that 10-year old inkjet printer, at least for OS X.
