eq values query

Hi; as a newbie i am interested in the eq settings and wonder if there is anywhere on the web or in the ipod literature that either gives you a visual indication of the eq settings or for the slightly more technically minded if the eq setting frequencies and db increases and reductions are set out. In the Uk for example 'loudness' increases both bass and treble in a 'smile' layout; whereas i think in other places 'loudness' can just mean a bass boost; so it would be good to see or be able to work out what for example 'piano ' does

In iTunes, go to View -> Equaliser. You can then select each preset and see exactly how it is layed out.
