Error while printing and not enough memory to print

Hello,
I suspect that everytime I agree to one of apple's security upgrades I run into some problems-- I did this a few days ago and everything was fine at first! This problem happened a few upgrades ago and by deleting something like an OSX prefernce file it was solved. I just don't know what that file was.

I'm on a G4, OSX 10.3.9, everything was fine yesterday and today I went to print out an email message and I received a message that there was not enough memory to print. I tried to print a web page from Safari and the message was "Error while printing", I tried a MS word doc and it was "unable to print", I tried a Quark doc and received a message, unable to print [63] and Unknown error [-30871] Other computers on my network are fine and print to this printer.

Can anyone help?

Open Application/Utilities/Printer Setup Utility.

Delete your printer from the list and then click "Add" to set it up again. I don't know what causes this issue, but 9 times out of 10, this solves it for me.
