Hi

I have tried everything to get my midi keyboard working. I bought it from someone. They said I wouldn't need the drivers as OS X 10.4 has them already. I am using the usb lead to connect it. It turns on, and when I search on my mac for the keyboard it has the keyboard on there. I dosn't seem to work.. Maybe it's the program(s) I am using that needs setting up. But I am convinced they are set up. Is there a driver I need to install? The only other thing I thought it could be was that I need to use the firewire instead of the usb???

Is your synth set to transmit MIDI through USB? I have a Yamaha S08 that has the same option, but I'm using MIDI cables through a MIDI interface. However, I noticed that the synth itself needed to be set to transmit through USB if I needed it to do that (by default it's set to MIDI). Check the settings on your synth to make sure it's set to transmit through USB.
