Excruciatingly slow internet!

I just bought my first Apple computer with Leopard. To my suprised there are so much trouble with Mac computers. I'm finding too many types of complaint about these computers. Apple shops line are busy trying to help with troubles.

Straight to the point. Why is my Safari suddenly so slow and sometimes does not download web pages after two months of fast internet! No changes have been made on our cable modem or router. My PC web surfing is fast. I've visited an Apple store but could not duplicate problem. I've tried so many tips to get rid of this trouble. An apple staff admitted it might be due to software/firmware update. I don't want to change any hardware. Please somebody help!

WOW. I have three different Macs (in various ages) and none show this.

Have you ran the OpenDNS yet? Hace you read the MacOSX Thread HOWTO: Speed up wired internet connection yet? Are you using DSL, Cable modem, DialUp, what? What Mac do you have? what version of OS X do you have (Black top left Apple and do a "About this Mac" to get the information)?
