Explorer 5.1.3 links dont work?

I click on "links" to download files, and they dont start downloading!?!

bottom of window, I see the file name like its going to work, then nothing....

check download manager, and the download didnt start.

this never happened using explorer 5.1 under OS 9.


However, if I control-click the link, and choose download to disk, works fine.

I want the download to start just by clicking!

is there a setting I need to tweak? Im missing something. ?

or, is this a bug?
 
funny, cause IE works fine under 9.... no problem.

ive used macs since 1991, and NEVER used a M$ product... until IE 5.0 came out! it walked all over netscape, which I use to love. netscape stinks now.

IE 5 was the best mac program MS ever created..

I do use office X, the ONLY other MS program I got... takes some getting use to...

Oh well, another post perhaps? ;)
