Is it normal that explorer "the browser" freezes a couple of times/day? I have to restart my computer at least 1-3 times a day. Annoying..

My friend who bought mac also claim, that his comp will freeze a couple of times/day when using explorer? Is this normal? Am i stupid, because wondering this? Is it just so, that explorer don't work?
 
It shouldn't crash that much- I'd suggest that you trash some preference files- I bet one of the is corrupted somehow. If that doesn't resolve the problem, then you should reinstall IE- perhaps some kind of Java support or Javascript support is hosing when you visit a site- or memory leak. Also try running a disk repair program on your mac.

Get Mozilla or something, IE in classic is made to be unstable.
 
Ok.. I better check this Mozilla out.. Maybe it is worth of it..
But i don't like to put millions of different programs to my puter.. I have bad memories...lol...
Maybe I should back-up my data before installing.. Just in case...
 
IE has not crashed for me in a long time. And I make webpages with crap loads of javascript and stuff like that.
