External CD/DVD, USB2 for both Mac and PC

Long story of a busted internal drive on a Macbook and more, but I really do need an external CD/DVD that I can use to read/load software, but also use on a PC. USB2. Any recommendations for both a /brand model and a place to buy it? Thanks in advance!

P.S. If it cal also support burning DVDs from a G4 with Tiger running iDVD, that would be a bonus.

Any drive should work fine on either platform in my experience.. LG drives are cheap and plentiful here.
