External hard drive with Retrospect

I've just bought a new MacBook and I'm a little worried about getting all of my data onto it. I've been using an external hard drive with my PC, and the way that I transfer files onto it is with Retrospect Express. However, I've lost my installation CD for the Retrospect CD, and I'm not sure how I'm going to get the data from the hard drive onto my Mac. Is there any way to get a new Retrospect CD by proving that I already have the program? Alternatively, is there a way of reformatting my hard drive so that the information on it can be accessed without Retrospect? I'd prefer not to have to spend any more money if at all possible. I'd appreciate any advice!

I believe new macs have system migration tools built into them which are compatible with windows pcs and other macs and give you plenty of options.

I'd google around for it or search this site for tips on it, but It's been so long since i've used the tools i forgot where they were accessed.
