I have a 1TB WD external hard drive that I previously had on a router. I am trying to get access to the drive as it would be good not to throw it out.
I have it plugged in and when I look at Finder and Disk Utility it isn't there.
When I open up Terminal and go to /Volumes, I can see it there
When I attempt to eraseDisk I am told it can't find the disk.
I am ok to wipe the disk clean or just get access to it so i can check the files on it and then erase it. Happy either way.
I have also tried to mount it
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
