Does anyone know what, if anything, Apple is doing about the problem with external modems, i.e. hangs up for no apparent reason! Particularly a problem when downloading CD music to iTunes for use on an iPod. Modem disconnects after every CD.
Just wondered whether anyone has heard of any solution for this. Apple support person spent about an hour helping me to find out if the modem or my service provider was the problem. After assurance that it was not the modem, I read all sorts of forum complaints from people with the same problem I was having.
