Hi,
I have recently connected a USB external driver and when I come to format the drive in disk utility it basically hangs (I can see the drive OK). I suspect the problem lies with the actual driver having been formatted for UNIX previously i.e. no partition table is on the drive. I have tried it on a Windoze PC and symptoms I get on this seem to support this theory.
I have tried to create a partition table in disk utility and again it hangs. Disk warrior doesn't even pickup the hardware.
Help?
Thanks in advance.
