Hello, I bought an external Xerox LCD monitor model XL-775l
and I connected it to my PowerBook 15" via the dvi cable.
I do not use mirroring.
Everything works fine until the PowerBook goes in standby
(or I put it directly to sleep), then when I wake up the PowerBook,
the external monitor starts to blink as if there were a problem of
refresh frequency. The Display menu of the System Preferences
shows a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. I tried to click the "Detect Display"
button and to press the "Auto" button but the situation does not improve.
The only solution seems to be to restart the powerbook. After that
(and till the next sleep-wakeup) everything works fine again.
Any help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Massimo
