Yet another new problem since my "upgrade" to Base Station Firmware 5.1 and 3.1 of the Airport Admin Utility -- and this one really ticks me off.
In order to print to my HP Deskjet 960 I have to unplug/re-plug the USB cable into the Base Station in order for any of my computers (wired or un-wired) to see the printer after either shutting down or waking from sleep. Printing worked fine before the update. FYI, I have the Base Station's Interference Robustness enabled and I have it set to Automatic channel selection.
This really is the WORST Apple product I have ever purchased!!! I have had nothing but headaches since plugging it in. The worst problem had been interference knocking the Base Station offline but now I'm not able to print and that really stinks. Why doesn't Apple test this software sufficiently? They really should do public beta tests.
That being said, this printing problem should be fixed ASAP!!
