Farallon SkyLine and MacOS X?

Is there any way to get the Farallon SkyLine 11MB Wireless card to work under X? Has anyone tried this?

TIA

I just sucessfully installed a wireless driver I downloaded from (http://homepage.mac.com/WebObjects/...FileSharing.html&aff=consumer&cty=US&lang=en.) You want the package_build folder. Then you need to put the files in the proper folder. Of course you can't do that easily. It took me forever to figure out and so I'm traumatized. First you have to enable root level access which you can do in the netinfo utility under domain-security. You have to put a new password in. Then you go into the terminal and cd to the folder containing the file you need. You then su root and enter the password you gave yourself. Now use the commands listed here (http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=11826&db=macosx) Do the same for the preflight file that needs to live in the resources folder in the system/library.
HAVE FUN.
By the way, having done all of this, I can see the card, but it is unable to connect to my Linksys Access Point. Take heart though, I don't believe the Linksys is compatible with the Farallon, so there you go. I hope that you have success.

I have a friend who just got a new iMac and decided to run in OS X. Her family uses the Farallon Homeline network thingy (runs over the phone lines and connects to the computer through USB). We have been unable to locate any type of driver or way of getting this to work!!

Any suggestions??

Please Help she has to use a PC to get anything done on the net:eek:
