FAX modem support?

Does anyone know of any MacOS X-compatible FAX modem software? Do I really have to keep booting back to 9.1 to send and receive faxes?

Haven't heard of any yet.

Another case of Chicken or the Egg.

Has anyone used the fax from internet services from www.tpc.int? Everything about it and the various client software is awkward, but I wonder: does it only support text and TIFF? What about PDF?
