FDF Acrobat forms download as asp?

Does anyone know why (Acrobat forms) FDF files download as .ASP files containing FDF data instead of populating and generating a PDF as it should? Is something set up wrong in my system?

I get the same thing whever using IE 5.2.2 or Safari 1.0 beta.

I'm using Acrobat reader 5.1, OSX 10.2.3, Dual 1GHz G4

If you're downloading from a M$ Exchange server, lots of times the server will send the pdf file through a .asp cgi, and the browser will save it as such.

Its been my experience that you can just rename the file and all works well.
