"Fetch Error" "can't find server mail"

I can't use my email in OSX! I have all the acct info just like I do in Outlook. When I start up in 9.1 I can get and send mail. When I start up in OSX I get an error message in both classic and apple mail.

Anyone?
 
you probably have a mail account set up with the default entry of 'mail' and not surprisingly, it can't be found
 
I called and they said they are not allowed to give out the full hostname anymore. Do you know what it is for cox in irvine? If you do, send it to my email.
