File Server/Wireless HD

I have a dual 1ghz G4 that I want to use as a wireless file server. Is this even possible? I have an Airport Extreme pluged into Comcast Cable, and 3 Powerbooks on the wireless and the G$ hard wired. What do I need to do to make this happen? I want to turn the G4 into a photo station/wireless HD server etc. Thanks for any info.
 
I presume you mean a file server attached to the network by a wireless network connection? If so, you will need an Airport/Extreme card for the G4 if you've not got one already, and you should then be able to set up as you describe.

Not sure why you'd want to do this, though, as you state that you've already got the G4 hard wired into the network. Leaving this plugged in would remove the need to buy new hardware and would also maintain a reasonable transfer speed, which I assume is quite important in a file server situation...

Of course, it is entirely possible that I have misinterpreted your requirements, in which case I apologise!
