Hey does anybody know where i can get hold of a free invoce template for fmp? Or if you have sugestions to use another app plz let me know

My dads mate asked me to make him and invoice thing for his buissness (mmy 1st computer related job) and he sed he will pay me good

Do a Google.
You really should make your own template exactly the way your client wants it. Just ask him to lay it out on paper, just roughly and go from there. It's not too hard with Filemaker, and most places where you'll find templates, you'll have to buy them.

Here's one I made in about 15 minutes;

The buttons are on a standard template. I uploaded a folder with templates here;

Just put the folder inside your Filemaker Application folder. Look through what may work for you and you can make any changes you want.

I would strongly suggest getting plugged into http://www.fmforums.com. There is a ton of information there from other FileMaker users, as well as free templates and examples in the downloads section.

Bottom line: when developing FileMaker databases, make sure you design it right the first time. It sucks having to change things later on.

hey i cant get to the forums (fmforums.com) i keep getting an server could not be found error
