I am using FilemakerPro 7 in Panther. Everything is working as it should except that I am copying files to another system and when we open them they are read only. I have checked all the manuals and have set all the account priveleges up in the program and still they only open as read only. I can't find any information that addresses it at the FMP sites (believe it or not) and am hooped. The reason I am copying files is because the two systems used are quite a few miles apart and the internet sharing is too slow. I am the person that has designed the database and will be maintaining and inputting information but the user is at the other location -- so I really need to get this addressed. Can anyone help?
