Hi,
I have an external HDD (USB) on which I have about 200 .mp4 movies saved. Whenever I try to open or copy a file to my local drive OS X reports:
Funnily (or not) enough about 10-20 of the movies do work but most dont. Those that do work also have thumbnails while those that don't just have the mpeg4 icon.
Things I've tried: verfiy and repair disk in Diks Utility- but go through fine(repair permissions is greyed out). I've tried this on two different mac (Mac Pro and Macbook Pro) both running the latest updates of Leopard.
Thanks in advance for any help. Surely someone must have seen this but I could not find anything usefull by searchign these forums.
