I use Mac OS X 10.0.2 on three computers, but one of them which is used a lot as a fileserver for about ten iMac:s is regularly going down without and notice. The rest of the computer seems to work as it should, but it isn't accesible from any client through AFP/IP. Has anyone else got the same problem?
AppleTalk is turned off and it's just a clean installation of X and then, 10.0.1, 10.0.2. I'd rather exhange it for a server running FreeBSD or something, but I'm getting *really* annoyed about this matter.
Is it possible to start up filesharing with the terminal? To just restart it with System Preferences doesn't work - it's just at restart. :-(
Thanks!
