Final Cut Pro 3 for OSX!

Yay, Apple finally carbonized it's biggest video program! I don't use it, but I'd thought I'd point it out. :)
 
I bought Final Cut Pro 2 during the summer expecting it to be carbonized as a free upgrade. Oh well... I just ordered the upgrade, and since I'm a college student I got 2 for $300 I think and I just ordered the 3 upgrade for $200. Still a bargain I guess considering what you get. I can't wait to get some serious video editing done!!
 
HyperLiteG4, you hardware don't qualify for realtime editing, unfortunately :(

RealTime editing requires a G4 desktop with 500Mhz or higher, single or dual.

For portable, RT requires a 667 Titanium.
 
Is FCP 3 an upgrade for OS 9 users as well? Like, are there new features or is this basically 2 carbonized?

Nevermind. It is for OS 9 users and does have some new features.
 
Leonis, I know I need to update what I wrote on my signature. I just got a new Dual 800 so I should have plenty of speed with Final Cut 3 and OSX! I can't wait to get it all running. Sure beats paying $140 G's for an AVID, but jeez can you imagine an AVID machine running OSX?! that would fly!
