Final Cut Pro 3 on OSX Server

Does anyone know of a reason why FCP 3 won't install on OSX Server? I have OSX Server 10.1.4, and the installer hangs usually after I click all the EULA's. Sometimes the installer icon just bounces about a hundred times and then I get an app quit error.

The FCP3 Sys Req pages don't specifically say that it won't work on OSX Server (which as I understand is basically OSX with a few more apps, kind of an OSX+).

Can anyone shed some light on my problem? :confused:
 
I'm going to take a wild guess here and say it's probably because of the UFS file system, it probably needs HFS+.
