Finder crashing regularly

[case42]

Everything was dine until a couple of days ago, when I allowed the system to run through PART of the software update. Now, the finder crashes and relaunches about every 30-60 seconds. I've run the rest of the update with no change. I'm not a newbie, but I can't seem to figure this out from the report - maybe you can- THANKS!!:

Run Mac OS X 10.4.11 combo update for PPC Macs on your system - if Finder keeps dying, run it via Terminal. Man softwareupdate for syntax.

When the software update got interrupted, part of the core services had been updated, and the rest were not, causing those crashes.
