Finder Disk Info

Guy Who Loves X
I'm sure I remember screenshots of betas of 10.1 showing an OS9-style bar at the top of windows that shows currently available disk space, etc. That's probably the second biggest thing I miss from the Classic era, so I'm wondering if that feature was dropped, if I'm just too stupid to find how to turn it on, or if there's a hack/hidden setting to turn it on...
Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but...

Open a new Finder window and go to View-->Show Status Bar. It tells how many items are in the directory you are viewing, and how much disk space is available. I believe it was there in 10.0.x, but I never use it so I'm not sure.

Thank you! Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about, and it looks like I was just too stupid to look in such an obvious place. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there under 10.0.X (and I hope so, or I'm going to feel even dumber).
