Hi,
I have an iMac G5 with Mac OS X 10.4.4 running.
In Finder I have changed the settings such that for images it displays the image as icon.
Now when I have the Finder window open and do a scan (Canon Lide 60), the
scanner puts the image into this folder.
Unfortunately the icon (that should be a miniaturized image) is displayed only partly, ie. depending on timing only 10 - 25% of the top of the picture is shown.
It looks to me that the Finder is updating it's contents a little bit to early, ie.
the scanner has transmitted only part of the image, but Finder already started
to create the icon.
Note: If the Finder doesn't have a window open of the folder where the scanner puts in the image and you open this folder afterwards, everything works fine.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get around it?
Unfortunately the FInder doesn't have a refresh option which would update the icons. Only possibility I see until now is to open the image and save it again, but that's very annoying (because I can't even see which image I'm opening beforehand).
Regards,
Thomas
