Finder Icon is in PINK color...What\'s wrong??

This is how it happened...

1. I had a 150GB HDD with OS 10.3.9 installed and used nearly a year.

2. My system in the 150GB HDD became unstable, so I bought a new 250 HDD.

3. I installed OS 10.3 to the 250GB HDD (updated to 10.3.9 soon after).

4. Then icons for "Finder" and "Trash" in Dock were in PINK color!!----- I thought it is something to do with my G5 having more than one OS X...

5. I delete the unstable OS 10.3.9 in 150GB HDD completely. In fact, I formated the 150GB HDD.

6. Now I have only one OS 10.3.9 system in my G5, but the icons are still in PINK...

7. If I quit and reopen "Finder" by using "command + alt + esc", color of the icons become familiar blue color.

8. The Pink icon come back everytime I restart my G5.


Do you have any idea what this "Pink Icon" means???

Create another Test User account and see if the icons are still pink. That way you can tell if it is the whole system or something screwing up in the install process.
