I'v had a problem with a couple of G5's not fully booting. It goes through the process and gets to the finder window but only the spotlight symbol appears in the top right hand corner of the screen. When you run the curser over the top toolbar the spinning globe appears. The machine boots not further than this.
Does anyone know of this issue and a simple way of resolving it or even what causes it to happen.
