Finding out speed of HD? (ie. RPM)

How can I find out the speed of my HD?

I have just had it replaced and I think they have put a slower HD in than I had before.

One way could be to click on "About This Mac" and open the System Profile clicking on "More Info...". Now click on Hardware and ATA. You will find the brand and model of your hardddisk. Simply google for this disk and check its specs.

Requires a little research, but if you go to System Profiler and expand out the ATA menu (my mac is ATA - yours may be SCSI of course) and click on the HD - it'll tell you the model number. Searching the Manufacturers website should reveal all the technical details.
