fink can't install Debian Utils during self-compile

I just downloaded fink 0.4.0 and did the typical ./boostrap.sh. Everything proceeds fine until I get this message

curl -f -L -s -S -O http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/debianutils/debianutils_1.15.tar.gz
curl: (22) The requested file was not found

Could the folks at debian.org have done something temporarily that makes this break?

I just looked at ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/debianutils/, which shows that the revision level is now at 1.16. I guess, I now have to find the file in the Fink 0.4.0 distribution where this is referenced and change it.

Better yet, try typing

fink selfupdate-cvs

which will get the latest package definitions for you, both updates and all new ones. I have debianutils 1.16 installed that way.

That's right, 'fink selfupdate-cvs' will work.

For information, quoting the fink lists:
