Firefox ctrltab preview doesn't cycle through tabs

I've enabled (in about:config) the option browser.ctrlTab.previews, but when I press ctrl+tab and continue pressing tab, it doesn't cycle through the list. It just stays on the last tab viewed. When previews are disabled it cycles through tabs just fine.

On my linux machine ctrl+tab cycles through the tabs just fine. Any ideas?
 
In OS X just use the button closest to the spacebar called the 'command button'. So for choosing an application switcher key combination just replace the ctrl button with the command button+tab.

In OS X just replace most any keyboard short you know with the ctrl button and try the shortcut with the command button instead.

Now bookmark the Apple site Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts. Plus you can make sure own by opening System Preferences->Keyboard pane and in the Keyboard System Preference select the mini tab for 'Keyboard Shortcuts'. You can use the + or - buttons to add/delete your custom shortcuts.
