Firefox - Enable Javascript - Update Adobe Flash Problem

Hi,
Okay so when I try to watch videos on safari it works just fine however when I go to watch videos on firefox it wont work and gives me this message
Oops! In order to listen to this, you will need to enable JavaScript and install Adobe Flash 9 or greater. Get Flash now!

Now I have both javascript and java enabled in preferences > content
I have all of my add-on's disabled thinking maybe one of those are causing the problem.

So far everything I've found about it when I search google and firefox forums says that it's an add-on issue but since mine are disabled it's obviously not.

I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling firefox AND flash trying to update both of them. Neither has worked.

Any ideas?
 
If your plugins are disabled, or more specifically that Flash plugin is disabled, how will it be used for viewing? Enable that Flash plugin.
 
The plugins are enabled (flash, etc.) It's the add-ons (ad-blocker, web developer, image zoom, etc) that are disabled.
