Firefox Extensions don't appear

I had trouble with my FileVault sparseimage [see my other query for details] and all my apps got restarted, i.e my iTunes library was corrupted and my bookmarks disappeared.

But in Firefox, my extensions are still installed and are functional. However, they do not appear in the Extensions dialog box, so I can't edit the preferences or uninstall them.

Is there a way to manually force Firefox to recognize them?
I'd just reinstall them, except that they are still in my extensions folder in my profile, and they are still functioning.

I know this isn't specifically an Apple question, but I'm unfamiliar with the directory structure and some of the file extensions.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

it the profile, they are in the seperate directory. go to (your mac user name)/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles then delete your profile in there. then restart Firefox. you need to make a new profile for your firefox. so it should be back to normal when you make a new profile.
