firefox: how to import links from Camino?

i don't see it as a built in option in Firefox. What folder do I have to put them in?

Have you tried FoxMarks? Does Camino have that as an option to add-on like Firefox does?

that seems to want to synch computer to computer. I want browser to browser. Can't I just copy one folder (or its contents) to another?

Export your bookmarks from Camino to an .html file. Move that file to your user/Library/Applications Support/Firefox folder, and move to your profile folder, replacing the bookmarks.html file that is already there.
If you want to add more bookmarks to an already existing set, then you would need to do something more clumsy, like import your Camino bookmarks through Safari, and then export the result from Safari into Firefox.
